Church Campuses

Private Campuses: Church Campuses

Understanding the need for churches as well as the needs of churches, Fullmer, in contrast to other contractors, feels prepared to construct Church projects that are unique developments with the needs of the church, staff and members as first priority.

Church Campuses Featured Project

Located in Rancho Cucamonga in a beautiful location at the base of the foothills, this unique 75,000 square foot multipurpose primary sanctuary/sports center gave way to the development of supporting a full menu kitchen, cafe bar, multiplex conference rooms, kids playrooms with performing stages, staff offices and state of the art audio, video, CCTV and professional performing stage. This unique piece of land created parking challenges that were resolved by a full two story parking structure that accommodates the multitude of venues at the same time. The existing sanctuary remained in place and occupied while the new development was constructed.

Fullmer constructed the beautiful campus of Canyon Hills Friends Church, located in Yorba Linda off the 91 freeway. A sprawling parking lot greets visitors to the grounds; a short walk down the stairs opens up into a beautiful brick courtyard complete with a tiled baptismal, fountain, palm trees and tent-covered fellowship area. Classrooms surround the courtyard, as well as the main entrance into the lobby of the church.

Once inside, the first floor contains the sanctuary, kitchen, nursery, and numerous children’s classrooms. Back outside, a walk up the stairs from the parking lot level leads to the church offices, which include a conference room, numerous pastors’ offices and staff offices.

Nestled ideally on a corner site, the building is set perfectly with views of the valley and mountains behind it in the distance. Ample greenery and palm trees surround the facility, which is truly one of the more beautiful and inviting church campuses in Southern California.

Through the renovation of a warehouse in Riverside, California, Fullmer was able to create a new worship sanctuary center, educational facility and mezzanine to house the growing Sandals Church. The inside of the warehouse was completely transformed, giving the building a safe feeling to encourage worship and community.

For Saddleback Church, located in Lake Forest and one of the most beautiful church campuses in Southern California, Fullmer constructed a new Children's Ministry Center complete with space for students from nursery through sixth grade. Fullmer was able to create a multi-story building to create a new home for children to learn about God.

From the original conceptual design and full working drawings, Mariners' original budget was exceeded and looking like the new sanctuary would be put on indefinite hold. Mariners reached out to Fullmer and selected a design team to help redesign the structure, interior, and site work, helping to bring the project in line with projected budgets, while making sure critical design elements were part of the project. With some creative structural changes, value engineering, competitive pricing, and partnering with many talented designers and engineers, Mariners' budget and campus criteria was satisfied and the project moved forward. The new sanctuary, theater seating, full production stage, retail store/coffee shop, kids play area, and campus like setting provided Mariners with the original design intent while keeping check on the overall construction budget.

Fullmer's and Mariners' team effort resulted in one of the most innovative and functional campus designs in the OC area, as well as one of the most beautiful church campuses in all of Southern California.

Fullmer completed Phase I of a vibrant new campus for Calvary Chapel Rialto. This included a new 23,000 square foot 1,500 seat worship center, a beautiful courtyard, as well as a new coffeehouse and bookstore.

The 71,184 square feet of Calvary Christian Reform Church combines a Sanctuary, Child Care and School Room center, entertainment stages and meeting halls together to provide Chino with the most state-of-the-art church campus in the area. The unique positioning of multiple buildings creates a campus like setting while accommodating the movement of a large population in a short period of time. Design concepts and specialty features also help to accent the building perimeter and create interest in a cost effective structure that fit well into the budget.
