Redwood Logistics Center
Fullmer recently completed Redwood Logistics Center, 2 new state-of-the-art distribution buildings totaling 1,939,312 in the booming Jurupa Valley industrial submarket. Phase 1 of this project included redevelopment of 105 acres and demo of 9 existing buildings. Phase 2 consisted of 2 tilt-up industrial warehouse buildings of 1,379,287 square feet and 560,025 square feet. The business center has immediate access to the I-10, I-15, and SR-60 freeways.
Project key details include cross-dock configuration with 40’ clear height, ESFR sprinkler system, 4,000-amp, 277/480 volt electrical, 56×60 bay spacing and 185’ all-concrete truck courts which are fully secured. Building 1 includes 248 dock-high doors, 4 grade level doors, 761 auto stalls and 416 trailer stalls. Building 2 includes 79 dock-high doors, 4 grade level doors, 382 auto stalls and 100 trailer stalls.
This site is completed with a train stop via the Union Pacific Railroad. Trains are offloaded on the south side of the building onto a 15’ landing. There are 2 rails spurs near the building for offloading and 9 rail spurs for rail car storage. Due to the weight of the rail cars, building the tracks was a big undertaking that required heavier materials to support the additional weight.
