OC Register: Fullmer Construction completes new 496,000 sq. ft. Cooler/Freezer Project for Dole and Walmart

Fullmer Construction recently completed work on a 496,000 square-foot freezer in Riverside County for Walmart and Dole —one of the largest cold storage facilities in the world. 

The project took 10 months to complete. The design is energy-efficient and required 36,000 square yards of concrete, 6.19 million pounds of steel, 100 miles of wire and 10,000 electrical lamps. The building includes 22,500 square feet of office space, 120 trailer stalls, 98 dock doors and is 42 feet tall. 

Fullmer served as the general contractor for this project, and worked in conjuncture with Dexus Property Group, HPA Architects, Hunter Landscape, Wright Engineering, ATI Architects, Thienes Engineering, So Cal Geotechnical, Gartner Refrigeration & Mechanical, and Clarion Construction.
